The city that never sleeps..

Wow what a crazy adventure I’m already on! In my first few months here I have come to realize that the decision I made to accept this new job was the right thing to do. I absolutely LOVE the company and the people I work with. I love my clients and the responsibility that I have been given. It really is a huge accomplishment and I couldn’t be more proud of myself for working my ass off and pushing through the last 5 years to get where I am at.

Since here in Sin City I’ve been able to see over 5 shows, check out some local bars and met some amazing people. And let’s not forget that someone I know has been in town EVERY week(end)! And as much as I miss my friends and family back home in SL,UT – I really am adjusting to things here a lot better than I thought.

Now that I have my bed, dishes, and pictures hung on the wall- I definitely feel more at home here. It has been quite an interesting struggle to get used to living alone, but it’ something that I’ve always needed to do to grow as a person and I’m loving every minute of it.

I am still in the process of looking for a house and hope to have a decision made by February – crazy to think that I will be a home owner that quickly!

It is true what they say though – this city NEVER sleeps – there’s always something going on, friends to meet up with and delicious restaurants to try. I”m a huge fan of all the Tapas restaurants and love the small bars I’ve been introduced to, not to mention the killer brunch party at LAVO. But I think my favorite thing is being able to buy booze at the grocery store – definitely a PLUS! (SL,UT needs to get with the program on this one!)

Until next time…Ciao 😉
